803-804 upgrade

Hello Crafters and Business Owners! We’re excited to share the news of the upgrade from GS-803 to GS-804. Since its official launch in May 2021, our GS-803 heat press has established itself as a reliable and indispensable tool, consistently delivering excellent service to our valued customers and users. However, in response to the growing demands of the market and feedback from dealers and users, we’ve made the decision to enhance the GS-803. This upgrade incorporates several enhancements, aimed at enabling crafters and business owners to spend more time enjoying the creative process and generating increased profits from a larger market.

A Larger Market to Increase Your Profits

Reasoning Behind the Upgrade: Over the past decade, as our business journey unfolded, we has seen the market flourish and expand each day. Alongside this growth, we’ve noticed a rising demand for enhanced customization capabilities from users. The previously popular A4 size falls short in meeting the evolving requirements of small business owners and crafters. As their artworks and businesses diversify, a larger canvas becomes essential. Recognizing this need, we see A3 emerging as the ideal solution for those seeking a better and more versatile option.

Upgrade Details: The primary upgrades from GS-803 to GS-804 is the printing size increase from A4 30*40cm to 35*42cm , which makes GS-804 a perfect solution for users with A3 and A4 printers.

Benefits: This upgrade empowers business owners with diversified product offerings, extensive customization options, and the ability to tap into various industries. This enhancement ensures competitiveness, aligns with market trends, and opens avenues for increased revenue through impactful marketing materials.

Faster After-Sales Support Boosts Your Brand Reputation

Reasoning Behind the Upgrade: At Galaxy Press, we prioritize after-sale service as most important factor in our industry. This commitment drives us to build a global distributor network, ensuring swift local support for our dealers and immediate assistance for end users. After the market release of GS-803, dealer feedback highlighted satisfaction with its performance and quality. However, concerns arose about the sturdy design causing delays and increased costs during replacement and maintenance. Thus, we’ve decided to develop a solution—a sturdily structured product that is also easy to fix, ensuring end users experience minimal downtime in their customization printing process.

1st Upgrade: The first upgrade in this term for GS-804 involves transitioning from an integrated design to an external-mounted type. In the previous GS-803 model, replacing the control box typically required disassembling the entire control box along with the holder. Conversely, the external mounting system in GS-804 simplifies the process, allowing control box maintenance or replacement done with the removal of just four screw bolts using bare hands.

2nd Upgrade: What’s more, the heating platen wire has been changed from being fixed inside the control box to a detachable aviation plug, making the replacement of the heating platen extremely simple.

Benefits: These upgrades significantly reduce maintenance time and enhance user experience. We also advise dealers to keep extra control boxes in stock, enabling them to promptly provide clients with new replacements. This approach ensures a quicker turnaround and prevents customer dissatisfaction due to prolonged service timeframes.

Easier Operation for an Enhanced User Experience

The extra benefits from the design transition is the external-mounted control box make it much easier for users to operate the heat press devices without being blocked by the handle or body structure.

Shared Features: GS-803 and GS-804

In addition to the mentioned upgrades, let’s spotlight some shared features for both heat presses.

1. Patented RAMSPIN System

When we began designing our heat press, we initially chose a manual open approach for its user-friendly features, making it ideal for beginners to practice setup and understand pressures and heat settings. However, we soon recognized that as beginners became familiar with the setup and as their businesses expanded, an auto-open machine would become essential for long-term efficiency. Recognizing that purchasing both machines to transition from manual open to auto open could be cost-prohibitive for small business owners, we decided to integrate these two methods into a single machine, introducing our patent, the RAMSPIN System.

The RAMSPIN system empowers users to effortlessly switch the machine from manual open to auto open using the rotary switch. This not only provides users with the flexibility of both manual and auto-open features but also allows business owners to prevent scorching shirts or hazardous incidents, reduce manual labor, and ensure higher production yields.

2. “RAMLOCK” Quick Change System

For custom business runners, working on various designs for different project types, such as T-shirt printing, hat embroidery, and bag customization, often requires different sizes of platens. In the past, addressing diverse project needs meant using different press machines, leading to exorbitant costs for businesses catering to various industries or projects. To tackle this challenge, we aimed to create a quick-change system that allows users to easily and swiftly switch between different platen sizes using a single machine. This led to the development of the RAMLOCK system, fulfilling the need for efficient and rapid changes to accommodate diverse project requirements.

3. Slide-out Lower Platen

Shirt printing stands out as a highly popular and dynamic segment in the customization market, with a significant number of heat press users utilizing these machines for applying heat transfer designs onto various garments, particularly t-shirts. However, a common challenge arises during the application process, where placing the garment on the lower platen poses a potential risk of burns from the upper heating platen. This risk is heightened by the limited space available for users. To address this concern, we have incorporated a slide-out feature into our lower platen.

Slide-out Lower Platen

With the drawer-style lower platen, you have more room to position your transfer without reaching underneath the heat source directly. This not only ensures increased safety but also maintains the compact nature of a clamshell heat press. (It’s worth noting that safety considerations are a key factor leading many users to favor swing-away heat presses over clamshell styles.)

4. Over-the-center Pressure Distribution

Temperature, time, and pressure stand out as the three crucial settings in heat press operations (for more information, please check our ultimate guide on heat press settings). The uniform distribution of pressure plays a pivotal role in achieving successful prints. To enhance performance, in line with numerous suppliers, we incorporate the over-the-center pressure design into our heat press machines. This design concentrates the pressure at the center of the heating platen, ensuring even distribution radiating from the center for optimal results.
